I’ve had this phone for a few days now. So far, it’s been working really well for me, but I’d like to list a few things worth paying attention to:
1. It has a 22,000 mAh battery, and you can definitely feel it. I can use the phone all day (Netflix, gaming, texting—everything), leave home at 100% and come back with around 70% even after heavy use.
2. It charges slowly. However, since the phone has such a big battery, that’s to be expected. Even 30% can easily last 8–10 hours (or more, depending on usage).
3. Weight – it’s quite a heavy phone. You can get used to it (I did after one day), but if you prefer lightweight devices, there are other Doogee models that might suit you better.
4. Gaming – this phone has a great processor. Playing games like Roblox on graphic settings 8–10 is perfect (graphics and performance feel like on a computer).
5. Apps – there are quite a few unnecessary apps (which you can delete), but there’s no weather app. Everything else like calculator, calendar, compass, and flashlight is included.
6. Flashlight – there are two: a front one and a top one. The top one is controlled via an app and has 3 modes with adjustable brightness from 20% to 100%.
7. Music and notifications don’t show up on the main screen (maybe it’s just my unit, but I can’t turn it on—even when I try, it doesn’t work).
8. The charger came in the box, and the phone has a protective flap over the charging port.
9. Camera – the rear camera isn’t great, more on the lower-end side. There’s some HDR that improves it slightly, but nothing spectacular. However, the front camera is actually better than the one on the iPhone 13.
10. Software – I’ve heard complaints that Doogee phones don’t get updates, but they actually do. You just need to go to settings and check for updates manually.
11. Rear screen – small, but works great. You can enable different modes, like waking up with a glance or double-tap, set your own photos, or choose from various 3D animations and watch faces.
12. It works very well as a “portable power bank.” It charged my iPhone 13 from 30% to 100% while losing only 20% of its own battery.
13. TikTok issue – I might be the only one, but sometimes the sound duplicates when I go into TikTok’s search bar, and even restarting doesn’t help. I have to wait for the app to close itself in the background.
14. I recommend buying a popsocket before purchasing the phone—it makes it much easier to use.
15. Storage – when my iPhone had its 128GB completely full (126GB used), after transferring everything and logging into this phone, only 87GB were used.
16. It has slots for a SIM card and a memory card.
17. NFC works (you can use it for contactless payments).
18. Unlocking options – face unlock, PIN, and fingerprint (on the right side). Both face and fingerprint recognition are very sensitive—you don’t need to press hard. It only works with registered fingers.
19. The speaker is very loud, even at the lowest volume settings.
20. Excellent video quality when watching Netflix or similar apps.
21. It also has an extra dimming mode that I really love.
22. On the main screen, you can access the camera, calendar, compass, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile data, battery saver mode, and play/pause music (you can choose the app or it selects automatically).
23. There’s a customizable button on the left side that you can assign to your preferred functions.
24. I recommend buying a screen protector online, as it was quite hard to find one in physical stores.
25. I don’t know much about customer service, but I’ve heard it’s not the best. Still, you can contact them via email, phone, or through the seller you purchased from.
26. I bought my phone on AliExpress, where there’s a bigger selection of Doogee models than on Allegro or Media Markt (and the prices differ too).
27. There’s also a built-in lanyard hole on the phone’s body.
28. It’s rugged (but that’s obvious).
29. The speaker is only at the bottom.
30. The microphone quality for calls is very good.
31. Overall, you can also “customize” the phone and it doesn’t affect performance or usability.
My opinion about this phone so far is excellent, but I’ve only been using it for a few days. If someone needs a good phone for gaming, work, or long trips, this is definitely a great choice. But if you care about things like having everything instantly available (like on iPhones), a slim design, or a high-end camera, I’d recommend checking other models instead.
Previously, I used an iPhone 13, and I switched because the battery was so weak that I had to charge it 2–4 times a day with lighter usage than this phone.
I truly recommend this phone, but it’s best to carefully read what I’ve written above :) This is my honest opinion.
Nėra lietuvių kalbos 😔
It took a while, but it was worth waiting. A true large caliber ...
Great. whilest ingame up to 4 hours a day you can play for 2 days straight withouth recharging... i know thephone is not built for high battery capacity, but it does a great job, way better than other phones with smalles case / battery
Only been using it for about 2 weeks but it has been completely worth it. The 🔋 and rugness are above all the phones I previously owned. A satisfied customer at themoment.
